This is not a question that can be answered in a few short lines, that is why I have written a blog about how to grow your Social Media following quickly or steadily as time goes on. Social Media is both a fast and slow game and you’ll find that today’s hard work pays off tenfold in the future… if it’s done right.

When creating social media posts I recommend putting yourself in your customer’s shoes. Think carefully about what might attract their attention, for example what colours work best for your target market or what questions are they looking to have answered? I like to start my posts with a catchy headline which is normally a question- Can’t find anything to wear this season? This will stop my target market in their tracks and make them think about how they’re struggling to find stylish clothing. Next I provide a solution- I had the exact same problem and that is why I started making my own clothing. Clothing that actually compliments my figure and makes me feel beautiful. Now that I have told my target audience that I have what they are looking for I keep them engaged by asking them to engage with me- What types of clothing make you feel beautiful?. Now you have posed a question, provided a solution and asked for your target audiences input. A post like this is much more likely to get a response than a random post about a new dress that you’re selling. I have written a blog about this topic because I feel that it is important for business owners to understand the different approaches of digital marketing and how you as a business owner can utilize both of these options to benefit your business.
